I broke my own rule today…
I watched Oprah.
*GASP*
I do NOT like Oprah or her show.

But I heard that my next- life husband, Bono, was gonna be on there and oh yeah. I just had to do it.

So he talked all about his new project called (RED)
Have you heard about it? I am thinking it is totally cool.
Different corporations are now making products and providing services in the name of (RED). When you purchase one of the products/services portions of the profits go to purchase AIDS medication to treat those afflicted in Africa.

I am telling you that watching some of the videos on that show about the people in Africa that are suffering with Aids.. especially the children.. so many children… really got to me.
Made my problems seem really small.

As I was watching I was thinking oh sure, none of us normal people will be able to afford any of those items….but oh no… the Gap has bracelets starting at $1 and a crap load of different kinds of t-shirts.. So it seems affordable. I think that is great!
