The coffee crowd..
So this morning as I sit in the coffee shop preparing to write this post I look around at my fellow coffee drinkers.
Guy with a suitcase: and a fancy ass laptop..I would imagine he is a writer for something like National Geographic. Just stopping on his way to Africa. or Duluth. or not.
Lady with Granola: She sits and reads the newspaper drinking her purchased drink..but yet? eats what appears to be homemade granola out of a tupperware bowl. WITH her fingers. and no milk.
Middle age student lady: hair piled up, obviously studying for some big ass test, has not slept in days, goes back for another refill.
Oh there are a couple more, but they seem unremarkable..so I will leave it at that.
Being new to the city and all the traffic “issues”… I have found one thing that really pisses me off. Bicycles. No..not the bikes themselves..but the people who ride them. Now I am all about being green, saving money on gas and riding that trusty bike wherever your little heart desires to go. BUT. and that’s a big but, dammit, IF you are going to act like a car…want the rights of a car…then f-ing obey the traffic rules like a car. Stop weaving in and out of traffic, running red lights cuz no one is coming, and all the other damn things you seem to be doing to piss me off. and wear a damn helmet..I am not interested in seeing your brains splattered all over my windshield when you run out in front of me and I hit your stupid ass. Phew. Ok got that out.
I have all the art done and mostly all framed. working on tagging each piece. Need to pick up the snacks and stuff and then head to the gallery in the morning to set up. My kids are coming (big grin) and I cannot wait to see them!
I am just a tad excited..can you tell???
